361° is a fictional magazine concept developed as my final Communication Design project. Dedicated to Moloka’i, one of Hawaii’s lesser-known islands, the project combines editorial design, illustration and storytelling to explore its culture, landscapes and unique way of life. Alongside the magazine, an illustrated map of the island was created as a poster.
Produced using carefully selected papers, Japanese binding and an embossed cover, the publication was designed as a printed object that invites readers to explore and discover.
The project received a Bronze award at the ADC Young Talent Awards.
