Hi, I’m Katharina.

I like taking an idea further than just the logo, building a visual language and seeing it come to life across print, packaging, publications, signage, merchandise and whatever else a project might need.

My background is in Communication Design, followed by several years working in design agencies in Hamburg. Before all that, I trained and worked in hospitality, a bit of an unusual route into design, but one that still comes in surprisingly handy.

I work independently with brands, studios and people who care about good ideas and thoughtful design. I enjoy being involved from the beginning, working closely with clients and creating things that are not only nice to look at, but actually make sense as a whole.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually taking photographs, somewhere near the ocean or making things with my hands. My latest obsession is jewellery, wax carving, sand casting, silver, and a steadily growing collection of tools I absolutely needed.
