360° gives you the full view. 361° goes one step further.
Created as my graduation project, the magazine was built around the idea of looking beyond the obvious and taking a closer look at the stories beneath the surface. I developed the concept, art direction, editorial design and illustrations, with particular attention to typography, materials and the physical experience of the magazine.
The idea continues into the smallest details: the Japanese binding hides a map of Moloka’i on the inside of the folded pages, something that only reveals itself when you look a little closer.
361° was awarded Bronze at the ADC Young Talent Awards.
